Your team and task to look forward to:
At Auto Solutions we invest and have an exciting journey ahead of us. Currently, we have approx. 70 team members within Auto Solutions. The hardware engineering team consists of 11 experienced team members. We work in an agile setup in the intersection between mechanical, electrical and electronic components.

This role will be assigned towards our next generation of hardware platform. Together with the team you will set a platform structure that meets the business needs. In combination you focus on technical delivery. You coordinate both internally within the hardware team and also towards other teams working with system and software development. The combination of creativity and structure is key to success.

Your responsibilities as System Engineer HW will include:  

  • Define functional hardware requirements for components and subsystems.
  • Secure technical solutions that meet requirements for function, quality, cost and manufacturability.
  • Follow up and verify requirement fulfilment, identifying and managing deviations.
  • Collaborate closely with system engineers, project managers and development teams across the department.

We’re looking for you who bring a mix of the following skills and experiences:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical / Electronics Engineering or equivalent.  
  • Experience within the field of product development, including concept development and pre-studies.
  • Experience of product environments where mechanics, electronics and software interact.
  • Experience of technical leadership.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English. Proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
